The 7-day South Korea itinerary, day by day
Day 01 · Seoul
Land and BBQ
Korean BBQ + soju
First Korean BBQ and soju to set the tone for the trip.
Hongdae
Ease into Hongdae — buskers, bars, the student-district buzz. First night easy-ish (jet lag).
Day 02 · Seoul
One icon, then out
Gyeongbokgung Palace
In hanbok (the photos are the point), then Ikseon-dong cafes to recover.
Itaewon
The international bar scene, or back to Hongdae for clubs. End at a noraebang (karaoke room) — non-negotiable.
Day 03 · Seoul
Market + the big night
Seongsu-dong
A Gwangjang Market food crawl, then an afternoon in Seongsu ('the Brooklyn of Seoul').
Hongdae
The proper Seoul night — clubs out till the first train at ~5:30am (the subway stops ~midnight, so it's first-train or a taxi).
Day 04 · Seoul
Recover + last night
Jjimjilbang spa
Sweat out the night before at a Korean bathhouse, then a chill cafe afternoon.
Last Seoul BBQ-and-soju
One last BBQ-and-soju night before the bullet train south.
Transfer · day 4 → 5329 km apart
Day 05 · Busan
Beach city
Haeundae Beach
KTX down (~2h20). Beach all day and the Sky Capsule ride along the coast.
Haeundae bar strip
Beachfront dinner and the Haeundae bar strip after.
Day 06 · Busan
Colour + seafood + night
Gamcheon Culture Village
By day, then Jagalchi Market seafood (buy-downstairs-cook-upstairs), then the Seomyeon nightlife district — Busan's biggest.
Day 07 · Busan
Last beach, then out
Gwangalli Beach
A final beach morning under the bridge, then fly home from Busan (Gimhae).
